Naveen VK, Technical Director at nvisia, has over 23 years of professional experience designing and building software. She loves to share her technical knowledge and experience through talks at various meetups and conferences.
Savina Imhan is a user experience researcher, enthusiastic about creating interfaces that help people get things done easily and effectively. She’s also doing her best to learn about how to make those interfaces as accessible as possible.
Hilary Stohs-Krause is a co-owner and VP at Ten Forward Consulting, and focuses on the intersection of tech, entrepreneurship, and social good. She co-runs Madison Women in Tech, is a Forward Fest board member, and is a member of the advisory board for the Social Good Accelerator.
She’ll read any fantasy or sci-fi she can get her hands on.
Dorothea Salo is Distinguished Teaching Faculty III at the UW-Madison Information School, where she teaches broadly across library/archives technology, introductory programming, introductory infosec, technology and data ethics, and organization of information and data.

Ross Larson became a software developer through the nontraditional path of obtaining a double major in Psychology and French from Luther College. He later obtained a software development degree from Fox Valley Technical College. He works as a Software Developer for Paradigm in Middleton, WI. He enjoys indie and retro video games, board games, the NFL Draft, creating obscure fantasy leagues, and making charts.
Morgan is the Associate Director of Financial Applications at UW-Madison. She has been working in IT for over 15 years and building teams for the past eight. She is passionate about getting people to work well together and bringing a diverse set of voices to the table to ensure that the applications they build and support are the best that they can be. She has lived in four states, three of the Nordic countries, and has worked in the private sector, state government and higher ed.
Amanda Thornton is a team lead and software developer supporting researchers and research administrators at the UW Madison Space Science and Engineering Center to expand the boundaries of human knowledge. She is a co-chair for both Leadership Improv and the IT Professionals Conference and organizes the Distributed Developers Community of Practice. She is committed to creating inclusive communities for everyone and received the 2020 UW Madison CIO Award for Community Engagement. Outside of work you’ll find Amanda at the rink teaching adults how to play ice hockey.
